A dining experience you won't find elsewhere, Sa'Mesa's Experience Dinner concept aims to bring 20 strangers together with scrumptious Italian eats that change upon each visit.

At the heart of this experience is La Nonna Carmela, an Italian grandmother who would invite the whole town for dinner, regardless of whether she knew them or not. All she asks is that you arrive on time, so everyone can begin Nonna's homemade supper together. Is everyone here? Then let the festivities begin!

And what better way to get a group of strangers talking than through a plethora of tasty sharing plates? Spread over four courses, Sa'Mesa will serve 20 magnificent sharing platters, showcasing the best of Italian and Sardinian flavours, for your pleasure. Discuss your favourite flavours with the person next to you, recommend a pairing to the person opposite or shout down the table for the dish that's caught your eye.

Although the menu changes on the regular, allow us to give you a flavour of what's to come. Past dishes include grilled tiger prawns with caviar and arugula, a hearty fettucine with pumpkin, sage & butter and a creamy risotto with gorgonzola, hazelnut and shallots.
